300 gr macaroni
120 gr bacon
300 gr cherry tomatoes
1 small onion
80 gr Pecorino Romano PDO
basil
1 chili pepper (as desired)
extra virgin olive oil
salt, pepper

Cut the bacon into small pieces and julienne the onion. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and brown the bacon and onion.
Add the cherry tomatoes, peppers, salt, pepper and 4-5 basil leaves, then reduce heat and continue to cook for 15/20 minutes.
Cook the pasta in salted water, drain and add to pan with sauce and plenty of Pecorino Romano.
Mix well and divide onto plates. Sprinkle with more Pecorino Romano and serve.
